i leave for art vs craft tomorrow. the night before i leave for a show i'm all spun up so i can't sleep. so i'm browsing etsy when i get an idea. i'm going to make each of my wedding favors for my guests different. then i find some vintage keys. should i wrap them in mint green embroidery floss and attach a sweet little "the key to love is..." saying on them? its late, i'm sentimental. i find this one first:
sweetjewli, $2.
its flat and brass so i can etch a lovely pattern onto it instead of the embroidery floss idea. so of course i should keep looking for a key to wrap. i find this set:
i just like the middle one. i'll send a message to threefrenchhens and ask if i can have just the big one for $5. luckily i get a message right back and she agrees! hurray! she posts it for me and says "lol go look ...it's HUGE! I'll never get this photography thing down :|" for some reason the picture sends me into a giggle fit.
threefrenchhens, $5
I ask how she will ever find a box big enough to ship this in and she says "If it didn't cost so doggone much, I'd get a refrigerator box and use that :P" hilarious!
and thats why i love etsy.
