Have you been to the Brooklyn Flea lately? I suggest spending a Saturday or Sunday afternoon snacking and browsing the vintage and handmade goodies. Today I found handmade pretzels and caramels, $25 herman miller chairs, a really old bunny and a few of my favorite crafty flea friends.

Class at Better Than Jam Coop
Have you checked out the Better Than Jam Co-Op yet? Located at 1095 Flushing Ave, the Co-Op is soon to be neighbors with 20 other diverse businesses that will inhabit the "Markets at the Loom," providing a varied destination for local shoppers to shop and browse. The Co-Op brings Bushwick the talent of 15+ NYC designers, who create a variety of clothing, jewelry, and accessories. 
They also have really great classes! In fact, I'll be teaching a 2 part workshop starting on Wed. Feb. 23rd (6pm-8pm) and if you've ever wanted to make your own jewelry - this class is a great introduction. We'll cover: working with jewelry tools, wrapping wire and rings, creating your own earring hooks and clasps, types of metals, patinas and finishes, suppliers, design and assembling pieces. If you are unsure about tools, techniques and materials this is a great way to get started! More info about this class here.

Big Love
Oh I absolutely adore HBO's Big Love. Chloe Sevigny is so good - remember her as Jennie from Kids?
Anyway, the drama is huge this season. Secret babies, forbidden love, and "sealings" you really wouldn't expect. I love me some serious drama - I think I get that from my grandma who used to be obsessed with her dramas (Dynasty, One Life to Live, and oh what was that one... Murder She Wrote!!). Do you have a drama obsession? And if so, what's your show of choice?
