i found kelly sloan eident sitting at her booth in at the providence open market in rhode island. i threw on one of these on top of what i was wearing and it was so lovely. too bad it was Mother's Day weekend and I was trying to be a good daughter giving all my $$ to my mother's ridiculous addiction to buying jewelry that isn't mine. visit her shop here. this dress is $72. i can guarentee i'll be picking one up in the next week or two.

free kittens!
i was once on a road trip with some friends - completely lost in the middle of nowhere. we're driving around trying to find our way back to the highway. we're going up yet another hill with nothing but fields around when the driver yells "please GOD give me a sign!!!" just then as we head down the hill we see a huge hand painted sign (red dripping blood like paint) that says "free kittens!!" and then hysterical laughter ensued followed by my serious pleas for a kitten.
